Overview

The International Criminal Court is offering a funded internship position focused on database and ERP administration within the Information Management Services Section. The intern will support the administration and maintenance of the organization's database environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support with the administration, maintenance, and operation of the organization's database environments including new server installations, maintenance, and upgrades;
  • Assist with the testing of backups/restore and support disaster recovery tests exercise.
  • Assist with configuring and monitoring Database Servers and ensuring that backups and database jobs are completed as scheduled;
  • Other IT related tasks that allow you to learn other fields of expertise.
Required Experience

Applicants must have less than 3 (three) years of relevant full-time professional experience to be considered for an internship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field, preferably Computer Science, or Database Administration. All Candidates must have a degree or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognised university.

Languages Required
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of the other working language (French or English) is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is considered an asset.

Remuneration
Monthly remuneration of €1,125 (with a mandatory deduction for emergency health insurance) as well as some financial help for travel purposes for candidates who are not based in the Netherlands at the time of the recruitment.
