Overview

This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in recruitment and staff development within an international organization. The intern will support various HR initiatives, including learning and development, talent acquisition, and HR digitalization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support staff learning and development initiatives, including LMS-related activities and updating learning materials.
  • Assist in organizing virtual and in-person training activities.
  • Compile and analyze learning feedback.
  • Contribute to the preparation of learning resources, career development materials, and reports.
  • Support talent outreach and employer branding activities.
  • Assist with recruitment outreach initiatives like online career fairs and webinars.
  • Participate in meetings, events, and career fairs, providing logistical support and note-taking.
  • Support HR communications, intranet content, and HR-related documentation.
  • Assist with HR digitalization, automation, AI-related initiatives, and process improvement research.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • No prior professional experience is required.
  • Relevant professional experience or academic exposure to Human Resources is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and basic social media analytics is an asset.
  • Experience with website content management, basic design tools, or audio-visual editing is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Completed at least two years of full-time study at a university or equivalent institution leading to a degree in human resources management, business administration, social sciences, communications, marketing, law or related field.
  • Applications may be made up to two years after the completion of a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources, particularly in Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, staff engagement, or organizational development, is required.

Languages Required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of other official CTBTO languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is desirable.
