Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to support staff learning and development initiatives, as well as talent acquisition activities within the Human Resources Services of the CTBTO.
Key Responsibilities
- Support activities related to staff learning and development initiatives, including the Learning Hub and LMS-related activities.
- Assist in maintaining and updating learning and training materials, communications, and online content.
- Support the organization and coordination of virtual and in-person group training activities.
- Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing learning and training-related information and feedback.
- Contribute to the preparation of learning resources, career development materials, presentations, reports, and other staff development content.
- Support talent outreach and employer branding activities, including research, benchmarking, and preparation of related materials and communications.
- Assist with activities related to online career fairs, webinars, and other recruitment outreach initiatives.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at attracting diverse and qualified candidate pools.
- Participate in meetings, events, career fairs, and webinars, and assist with related logistical support, note-taking, follow-up activities.
- Support HR communications, intranet content, user guides, and HR-related documentation.
- Assist with HR digitalization, automation, AI-related initiatives, and process improvement initiatives and research related to HR policies and practices.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other HR-related materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- No prior professional experience is required.
- Relevant professional experience or academic exposure to Human Resources is an asset.
- Familiarity and interest in AI-based tools, automation, or technology-enabled processes is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) is an asset.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and basic social media analytics is an asset.
- Experience with website content management, basic design tools, or audio-visual editing is an asset.
Qualifications
- The applicant must have completed at least two years of full-time study at a university or equivalent institution that will lead to the award of a degree in human resources management, business administration, social sciences, communications, marketing, law or related field;
- Applications may be made up to two years after the completion of a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree;
- Strong interest in Human Resources, particularly in Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, staff engagement, or organizational development, is required.
