Overview

This position has responsibility to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate, as well as develop the capacity of local partners, develop partnerships and coordinating and overseeing the implementation of CORE Group Partners Project (CGPP) activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to facilitate develop project implementations strategy and timeline
  • Conduct monitoring, reflection and learning with the community and the program team to improve and adapt future programming.
  • Develop sustainability strategy through institutionalizing the community organization
  • Support district microplanning for Regular Immunization (RI) , Supplemental Immunization Action (SIA) , Acute Flacid Paralysis (AFP) surveillance and Community Based Surveillance (CBS) including identification of high-risk, zero-dose, defaulter and hard-to-reach population
  • Contribute district-level inputs to annual and quarterly workplan
  • Support contingency planning for outbreaks or SIA activities
  • Prepare project budgets in consultation with Project Team Leader and Finance team to ensure funds are spent in alignment with budgets in a timely manner.
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources, in accordance with Wahana Visi Indonesia financial policies and donor’s requirements.
  • Identify and assess capacity of community groups, and project staffs and local implementing partners in target areas on relevant technical capacities.
  • Provide capacity building to the related partners and project staffs in order to achieve the set project goals.
  • Provide technical support, tools, appropriate methods and approach to field staff, and related stakeholders to ensure project quality.
  • Internalize and socialize WVI core documents, including safeguarding and child protection, PSEA, and GEDSI.
  • Create a Community Learning environment (including children and the marginalized) and encourage communities to share and learn from their own experiences as part of confidence and capacity building.
  • Promote practical problem-solving skills among frontline implementers
  • To ensure that project implementation is in alignment with project design, organization and donor standards.
  • Monitor project implementation at the community level to ensure effective implementation (district & village level).
  • Conduct supportive supervision visit to field sites and communities
  • Prepare monthly report of project implementation in order to measure project’s achievement, obtain lessons learned and improve future programming.
  • Facilitate Advocacy Community Engagement (with its frame of project accountability) according to project design and shared responsibilities.
  • Ensure the quality of data collection, data analysis and review on assessment of project.
  • Support data verification and basic data quality check at district level
  • Monitor quality of CBS reporting, AFP detection, RI and SIA support activities
  • Identify gaps in implementation quality and recommend corrective action
  • Communicate effectively on Wahana Visi Indonesia identity, mission, vision, values and our approaches to work in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear.
  • Closely coordinate with local stakeholders to achieve project objectives and support sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain robust networks and dynamic relationships with all relevant stakeholders (DHO, Puskesmas, sub district and village local government) to support project implementation at project level.
  • Develop robust partnerships with local government, health and educational institutions, and other local organisations (NGOs/CSOs/FBOs) for shared learning, joint implementation .
  • Engage community leaders, religious leader and local influencers to support immunization activities.
  • Support coordination with UNICEF, WHO, or other partner at district level as required.
  • Contribute to organizational lesson learned process and promising practices documentation for peace building program.
  • Facilitate effective teamwork, coordination and work planning among field and support staff to ensure effective project implementation with quality.
  • Develop and manage annual performance agreement
  • Submits periodical/ monthly accomplishment report
  • Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department
  • Provide Christian value and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.
  • Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication and relationship with internal staff and external parties.
  • Manage all risks related to CGP Project according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks.
  • Act as first - level decision maker for routine operational issues.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in development or humanitarian programs, including at least 2 years in a coordination or supervisory role.
  • Experience in implementing immunization program is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing district-level program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and partnership with local government.
  • Strong background in community development, project cycle management, and multi-sector program coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising field teams (Project Officers, Facilitators, Community Volunteers).
  • Experience in budget monitoring, activity planning, and ensuring program compliance with donor requirements.
  • Prior experience working with INGOs/NGOs, government agencies, or multi-stakeholder platforms is highly preferred.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, or a related field.

Frequent travel to villages and remote sites, potentially involving access via unpaved or rough roads. Regular movement over rough terrain, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods.
