Overview

The Emergency Officer will implement the country office emergency preparedness and response on the ground, leading emergency response activities in Kherson Oblast and providing support for small-scale emergency responses in Mykolaiv and Odesa Oblasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the country office emergency preparedness and response on the ground.
• Lead emergency response activities in Kherson Oblast.
• Provide support for small-scale emergency responses in Mykolaiv and Odesa Oblasts.
• Provide technical contribution to the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency interventions.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Programme Management, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Development, Implementation, Administration. and any other related fields. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Science, Public Administration, Law/Legal Studies, Public Health, Business Administration, International Relations, Nutrition and any other related fields.
