Overview
The Protection Associate provides functional protection support to information management and programme staff, and coordinates protection responses to the needs of populations of concern.
Key Responsibilities
- - Coordinate with stakeholders to support project activities.
- - Facilitate joint planning and execution of field missions.
- - Engage with local actors to identify persons with specific protection needs.
- - Provide information and orientation to affected populations.
- - Identify individuals eligible for non-cash voucher assistance.
- - Register case-related information in the proGres case management system.
- - Refer individuals to available public services and specialized providers.
- - Identify individuals in need of shelter and coordinate access to accommodation.
- - Prepare periodic reports on activities implemented.
Required Experience
3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
