Overview
The Protection Associate provides functional protection support to information management and programme staff, monitors protection standards, and coordinates protection responses for populations of concern.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to support project implementation.
- Facilitate joint planning and execution of field missions.
- Engage with local actors to identify persons with specific protection needs.
- Provide information and orientation to affected populations.
- Identify individuals eligible for non-cash voucher assistance and monitor its use.
- Register case-related information in the proGres system.
- Refer individuals to public services and specialized providers.
- Coordinate with shelter providers for safe access to accommodation.
- Prepare periodic reports on activities implemented.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
For G6 - 3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Certificates/Licenses: International Law, Political Science or other related field
