Overview

The role involves facilitating the integration of beneficiaries of international protection and temporary protection into Greek society through various support activities. The main purpose is to promote employability, social cohesion, and independent living.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information and enroll eligible beneficiaries in the project.
  • Monitor beneficiary integration progress through individual sessions.
  • Conduct presentations on the European Way of Life.
  • Organize psychosocial support sessions.
  • Inform beneficiaries about social welfare rights, housing, healthcare, and education services.
  • Refer cases needing specialized support to other actors.
  • Coordinate with project units, other actors, and authorities.
  • Evaluate requests for exemption from Greek language course obligations.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and physical archiving of Means of Verification.
  • Coordinate with RIS and relevant stakeholders, and visit Reception Facilities to present the project and enroll beneficiaries.
  • Assist beneficiaries with apartment searches and administrative pre-requirements, and perform relevant verification actions.
Required Experience
  • Minimum three years of work experience.
  • For Social Workers and Psychologists, a professional license is required.
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least five years driving experience an advantage.
Qualifications
  • University degree in psychology, social work or any other related field from an accredited academic institution.
  • Master’s degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.
