Provides technical support to construction activities, including planning, procurement support, and site monitoring. Collaborates with UNICEF Programme/Operations to define construction interventions and achieve results for children.
Minimum six years of relevant administrative experience in project monitoring, construction supply chain management and/or other directly related technical fields is required. Emergency experience is an advantage. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is an asset.
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work, such as Supply/Purchasing, Business Administration Applied Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering-Civil, Architecture, Construction Management, Logistics, Procurement, Project Management, Public Administration, Environmental Engineering, Occupational health and safety and any other related disciplines. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience. A master’s degree may replace an additional two years.
