Overview
The role leads the Monitoring and Peer Review Division, overseeing the implementation of transparency and exchange of information standards for tax purposes and supporting reforms to ensure their effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the design and management of the Global Forum’s monitoring and peer review programmes.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of the implementation of the Global Forum’s monitoring and peer review processes.
- Foster cross-organisational collaboration, particularly with the OECD Development Cluster, on tax and development issues.
- Represent the Global Forum Secretariat and the OECD in internal and external meetings.
- Establish and maintain strong networks with international organisations, national authorities, academia, and research institutions.
- Lead and manage Division staff by setting clear objectives, providing direction and feedback, supporting professional development, and promoting effective project management and internal communication.
- Oversee the organisation and smooth delivery of all meetings under the Division’s responsibility.
- Effectively manage human and financial resources to deliver the programme of work and budget and fulfil the Division’s commitments.
Required Experience
At least 10 years’ experience at a senior level in a national government, the private sector or an international organisation working on tax and/or exchange of information for tax purposes, including managerial duties in addition to substantive areas responsibility.
Qualifications
An advanced university degree in economics, legal and/or a professional qualification in tax or a related subject.
