Overview
Provide technical support for immunization system strengthening, focusing on contingency plans in cold chain, conducting SimEx, and participating in training for cold chain staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in online Trainer of Trainer cold chain staff trainings for PHCC with their ambulatories / other service vaccination points including frontline regions.
- Prepare agenda, content of presentations for online ToT and cold chain staff training for PHCC with their ambulatories/ other service vaccination points with focus in practical using procured temperature loggers and cold boxes considering threats of vaccines freezing.
- Take part in works to identify correct and reliable functioning of RTMS at the national operator warehouse SE Ukrvaktsyna according to prepared Post-Installation Validation Protocol for WHO PQS E006 Compliant Remote Temperature Monitoring Systems.
- Conduct Simulation Exercises (SimEx) on emergency in cold chain at warehouses of national operators of vaccines logistic - SE Medical Procurement of Ukraine and SE UKRVAKTSYNA according to concept note and approved schedule.
- Active participation in all SimEx follow-up meetings and preparation reports on conducted SimEx activities with providing the key findings and recommendations for each national operator.
- Review Brief summary SimEx in one report for MoH/UPHC.
Required Experience
Minimum two years’ experience working on Cold Chain & Vaccine Management or Vaccine-preventable diseases surveillance (VPDs) and Immunization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with focus on public health, epidemiology, immunology
