Support the implementation of youth and communication related activities of the UNFPA Uzbekistan Country Office. The internship offers students practical experience in various aspects of UNFPA work.
Applicants for the Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, prior experience (inc. internship, volunteering) will be an asset.
Applicants MUST at the time of application meet one of the following requirements: (a) Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master's degree or higher). Preferred fields of study include, but are not limited to, Media and Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, Digital Media, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Health, Gender Studies, and other disciplines related to UNFPA's mandate (b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent) ; (c) Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
