Overview

The Sponsorship Information Officer (SIO) is responsible for supporting the overall sponsorship operation service by administering activities related to the sponsorship information system (HOPE) and developing tools for monitoring child presence and wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation plan and tools for monitoring RC presence, participation and basic welfare.
  • Map existing child monitoring tools to fit field staff or partner needs.
  • Formulate, test and revise RC monitoring and RC update data.
  • Support PLA and FGD Baseline survey and assessment.
  • Provide inputs in the development of sponsorship business process in AP.
  • Provide inputs for the development of annual operating plan and budget.
  • Install and use SIS hardware and software.
  • Check and maintain SIS infrastructure.
  • Provide technical assistance for field team of Operating model partner.
  • Train project staff, operating model staffs and cadres on SIS and basic sponsorship knowledge and skill.
  • Check the quality of DI.
  • Produce, monitor and analyze indicators for RC presence, participation and well-being.
  • Assist development of projects data base.
  • Process and input CH, CMS, Child Participation, Child and family support into HOPE.
  • Produce, analyze and report RC turn over report.
  • Manage pending tasks according to standard.
  • Maintain and review local database relevant to AP needs.
  • Report problems relating to HOPE to NO.
  • Ensure the validity of data input into HOPE.
  • Process adds, holds, drops, child death, reactivate, child annual update in single Step.
  • Ensure sponsorship performance and RC data is updated, maintained, documented and analyzed.
  • Produce data for monthly GNOD report.
  • Produce overdue and current pending correspondence from HOPE.
  • Manage effective relationships and networks with various development partners.
  • Communicate Wahana Visi Indonesia identity, mission, vision, values and approach.
  • Contribute to a working environment of mutual trust, respect, and care.
  • Support SIP Coordinator and operating model partner to ensure project goals are met.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in data management, information systems, or a similar field is required.
  • Experience working in the context of community development, child sponsorship programs, or international NGOs may be preferred.
  • Experience with database management, data analysis, and reporting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with child sponsorship programs and community engagement models.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation concepts and tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and communities as needed.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Sponsorship Information System (SIS) software, may be required.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related discipline is often required.
  • Any certifications related to data management, database administration, or relevant software tools can be a plus.
