Overview
Support the design and monitoring of emergency medical activities, focusing on quality, rapid response, and support to field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in exploratory missions and rapid health assessments
- Identify medical needs and priorities
- Support emergency response preparedness and initiation
- Contribute to medical strategies definition and adaptation in emergency contexts
- Ensure implementation of medical activities based on agreed strategy
- Integrate public health approaches (epidemics, nutrition, vaccination)
- Supervise and support medical teams in the field
- Ensure coordination with MoH and partners
- Support or replace MedCo/PMR when needed
- Contribute to planning, budgeting and monitoring of medical resources
- Monitor medical indicators and project performance
- Ensure quality of care
- Produce reports on interventions
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of field experience in humanitarian contexts
- Experience as Project Medical Referent or similar position
- Experience in emergency contexts is required
- Previous MSF experience or with an international NGO is an asset
Qualifications
University degree in medical or paramedical field
