SECONDMENT - Criminal Intelligence Officer NDTF

Overview

This role involves participating in the compliance review of requests for police cooperation sent via INTERPOL channels, conducting research and analysis, and providing advice on operational and police cooperation aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs operational, criminal, and open sources research and analysis on assigned cases.
• Conducts research and provides support to handling complex cases and operations.
• Drafts documents and reports related to specific cases and operations.
• Monitors and analyzes crime phenomena and international police cooperation.
• Maintains geopolitical awareness globally or on assigned geographical regions.
• Provides operational, criminalistics and law enforcement advice on notices and diffusions.
• Drafts and exchanges communication with member countries in relation to assigned cases.
• Prepares materials for presentations and training in relation to the review and publication of notices and diffusions.
• Provides training in relation to the review and publication of notices and diffusions.

Required Experience

At least three years' relevant experience.

Qualifications

At least three years' education at a University or other specialized higher education establishment, including Police Universities/Academies, possibly with a study focus on criminal/intelligence analysis, criminology, international cooperation or social sciences.
