Project Coordinator - DHR Rise Up Project
Overview
The Project Coordinator - Strengthening Community Frontliners for Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project will lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities. The role ensures effective coordination among stakeholders and timely achievement of project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of project activities in line with the approved work plan.
- Ensure project and resources are managed in line with standard policies and requirements.
- Network and collaborate with relevant Government Departments/Institutions, I/NGOs, Schools and other local stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings with local partners and monitor the physical and financial progress of project interventions.
- Ensure required information to report in compliance with donor requirements and standards.
- Mobilize technical, human and financial resources, and assist stakeholders and community partners.
- Ensure project spending is in consistent with the planned project budget and donor rules.
- Facilitate to timely produce and submit monthly, mid-year and Annual reports as per grant requirement.
Required Experience
At least 3-4 years of experience in Community Development, Program / Project Coordination in an international organization preferably in the INGO context. Experience in project implementation, community mobilization and participatory approach would be an advantage. Experience in working for DRR or climate mitigation/adaptation sectors is an added qualification.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Development Studies or Community development and Diploma related to DRR
