ESP PARA PARTICIPACIÓN DE ACTORES TERRITORIALES Y EDUCACIÓN INTERCULTURAL -PROG HORIZONTES AMAZONIA

Overview

Consultant role to contribute to the territorial and intercultural implementation of the Horizontes Amazonía Program by strengthening and participating in indigenous, youth, and women's organizations, providing technical support to partners and educational institutions, developing and monitoring intercultural pedagogical strategies, and articulating networks and learning spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Review technical products and deliverables from partners.
• Coordinate with local organizations for participation and accompaniment.
• Design and implement a mentoring mechanism for local organizations.
• Provide technical assistance to local organizations.
• Promote gender equality, youth participation, and interculturality.
• Maintain updated records of local organizations.
• Act as a technical focal point for assigned regions.
• Review technical products and deliverables from territorial partners.
• Provide technical assistance to territorial partners.
• Contribute to the articulation between organizations, educational institutions, and authorities.
• Develop technical proposals and reference content for pedagogical sessions.
• Accompany the validation, piloting, and adjustment of sessions and materials.
• Technically review modules and materials.
• Support technical assistance to teacher training institutions.
• Represent Horizontes Amazonía in a Community of Practice.
• Design, implement, and strengthen a teacher inter-learning network.
• Coordinate with MEL responsible for participant database management.
• Participate in planning meetings and institutional activities.

Required Experience

• More than 6 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in projects or consultancies related to education for indigenous peoples, intercultural bilingual education (EIB), or teacher training with intercultural approaches.
• 4 or more years of experience in social projects as an advisor, consultant, or similar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Licentiate degree in Education, Social and Human Sciences, Economics, or related areas.
• Completed postgraduate studies in public management, intercultural bilingual education, or related areas (desirable).
