Project Manager, Integrated Workplace Management System

Overview

The Project Manager, Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) is responsible for owning, operating, and evolving the IWMS as the authoritative source of real estate data across the World Bank Group's global portfolio. The role combines operational accountability for the platform with stewardship of a forward-looking real estate technology and digital enablement agenda.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the corporate real estate component of a multi-year Digital Enablement and Technology Roadmap.
• Evaluate emerging workplace technologies, including AI-enabled tools, digital twins, and smart building platforms.
• Build business cases for investment in new global capabilities.
• Serve as primary system owner and subject matter expert for the FM:Systems IWMS platform.
• Establish and enforce global data governance standards for space, occupancy, floor plans, assets, projects, and location data.
• Develop a federated operating model for data stewardship.
• Manage the CAD team and oversee the quality of drawings and floor plans.
• Work with project management teams to ensure data is updated following project completions.
• Develop an executive dashboard suite for portfolio monitoring.
• Design and automate recurring global reporting processes.
• Identify, prioritize, and advance AI-enabled capabilities across the real estate technology ecosystem.
• Establish governance principles for responsible AI use.
• Lead the functional and operational integration of the IWMS with adjacent enterprise systems.
• Manage relationships with FM:Systems and third-party technology providers.
• Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
• Coordinate technology program plans and investment proposals.
• Oversee IWMS-related procurement processes.
• Lead change management and training for system features and processes.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of direct, hands-on experience administering FM:Systems (FM:Interact or FM:BIM), or a comparable enterprise IWMS platform, in a geographically dispersed, multi-site real estate environment.
• Demonstrated experience establishing data governance and managing space data, floor plans, occupancy records, and assets across multiple locations, with a strong record of data quality and controls.
• Experience integrating CAFM or IWMS platforms with enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, or data connectors.
• Ability to develop and communicate a technology strategy and roadmap for corporate real estate systems.
• Demonstrated awareness of AI, digital twin, smart building, and workplace analytics trends and the governance considerations associated with their use.
• Financial management skills, including budget planning, cost analysis, investment cases, and vendor contract management for technology platforms and implementation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed technology projects involving internal stakeholders, external vendors, technical teams, and operational users.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills and the ability to translate facility data into executive-level insights and reports.
• Excellent stakeholder management, consultation, communication, and change leadership skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in Facilities Management, Information Systems, Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
