Overview

The Human Resources Officer (NOB) will coordinate and deliver end-to-end recruitment and talent management activities to support WFP Madagascar's workforce needs. The role involves partnering with managers to attract, select, develop, and retain talent, ensuring compliance with WFP policies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute towards the development of country specific plans and processes, and deliver HR operational activities or projects.
  • Provide advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, processes, systems and tools.
  • Provide effective management of the employment relationship between WFP and its staff.
  • Contribute to staff capability building and organize/deliver development solutions.
  • Deliver onboarding activities.
  • Contribute to building and managing talent within WFP.
  • Support organizational design activities.
  • Guide and supervise junior staff.
  • Collate and analyse data for reporting.
Required Experience

Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in Human Resources with an Advanced university degree; or five (5) years relevant professional experience with a First University degree. Relevant professional experience is defined as progressively responsible experience in talent acquisition, recruitment and selection, talent management, workforce planning, employee development, or other human resources functions. Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, advising hiring managers, coordinating assessment and selection activities, and implementing HR policies and procedures in a complex organizational environment is highly desirable. Experience supervising staff and working with HR information systems is an asset.

Qualifications

An Advanced university degree in a related field; or a First University degree.
