Overview

The Operations Room Officer ensures effective communication and information management, and monitors vehicles and convoys engaged in ICRC activities, adhering to standard operating procedures to guarantee team safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Swiftly transmit and receive messages using telephone and satellite systems.
• Monitor and document the movements of all ICRC field teams.
• Conduct routine radio checks with ICRC staff.
• Maintain a detailed station log of all operational occurrences.
• Proficiently operate telecommunication equipment.
• Promptly inform Management of any information or incidents that could impact safety.
• Develop and disseminate various situation reports.
• Work according to a shift schedule not exceeding 8 hours.

Required Experience

Some experience working with the ICRC is an asset.
