Community Resilience and Reintegration Officer
Overview
Support the implementation of reintegration and climate resilience projects, including emergency preparedness and response, in line with IOM policies, donor requirements, and national priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and implementation of reintegration and climate resilience projects.
- Support data collection, information gathering, and analysis.
- Support activities aimed at strengthening the well-being, resilience, and inclusion of returnees and vulnerable communities.
- Provide operational oversight, technical guidance, and supervisory support.
- Support project monitoring activities and maintain activity records.
- Support community engagement activities, awareness-raising initiatives, and capacity-building efforts.
- Draft and contribute to project reports.
- Liaise with government counterparts, implementing partners, UN agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support the identification of funding opportunities and contribute to project proposal development.
- Plan and support the delivery of capacity-building activities.
- Support project information management and visibility.
Required Experience
3 years of relevant experience in community development, migration, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, humanitarian assistance, livelihoods, reintegration, or related programmes. Experience working with communities, local authorities, civil society organizations, or development partners. Experience supporting project implementation, coordination, training, or community-based activities. Experience working in multicultural environments is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Humanitarian Affairs, Environmental Studies, Geography, Public Administration, Community Development, Engineering, Architecture, or another relevant field.
