Overview
Design high-quality infographics, maps, and graphic design for a Community Action Plan Publication to enhance its visual appeal and user-friendliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the full Community Action Plan (CAP) as a professional publication, creating a clean layout using IOM branding guidelines, organizing content, and applying visual hierarchy.
- Develop or refine maps and spatial graphics, improving readability, color coding, legends, and labeling, and creating new simplified maps.
- Create clear, attractive infographics and visual summaries to visually summarize key CAP content.
Deliverables include a professionally designed CAP Publication (editable and print-ready), at least 6 redesigned maps, a set of 8–10 infographics, and a graphic assets pack.
Required Experience
- Proven graphic design experience (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / InDesign / Photoshop or equivalent tools.
- Experience designing reports, publications, maps, or infographics.
- Ability to follow institutional branding guidelines.
- Familiarity with humanitarian or development sector designs is an asset.
- GIS or mapping experience (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
