Overview
The Field Coordinator will provide program, administrative, procurement, and logistical support to strengthen the program. The role involves technical leadership, monitoring and evaluation, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen and expand sustainable coordination mechanisms within municipality coordination structures.
- Collaborate with local/district government counterparts.
- Conduct environmental policy scanning on a continuous basis and regularly update and advise the Project Coordinator accordingly.
- Develop and/or revise training and BCC/IEC materials according to local context. Work with national partners to implement relevant training.
- Provide technical support to the development of relevant advocacy and policy documents.
- Support overseeing the development of annual site-based work plans and budgets, financial allocations and expenditures for relevant Components in the Project.
- Support formulation of the country programme and component projects by contributing to compilation of relevant information.
- Collect and compile district monthly reports that capture relevant information and that support the analysis and evaluation of programme progress and outcomes.
- Support monitoring of programme/projects financial performance.
- Supporting the evaluation of project and programme activities, conducting field visits, participating in review meetings, and preparing regular inputs to status and progress reports.
- Maintain awareness of budget and expenditures in order to manage the program within budget.
- Ensure the organizational assets in the office and in the region are maintained and used in line with the UNFPA policy on asset management.
- Ensure all travel undertaken by supervisees complies with all requirements for travel and is approved in line with the travel plan.
- Write monthly work plans, monthly reports, and other reports as needed or requested.
- Assist in writing program proposals.
- Provide logistical support to projects through coordinating related meetings, workshops, and events.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience
- Six years of relevant experience in administration, finance or office management.
- Proficiency in current office software applications, web-based management and ERP financial systems.

Secondary education
