Overview
The Staff Health Officer will be responsible for implementing the ICRC Staff Health Strategy in Odesa Sub Delegation and other ICRC sites to promote the physical and mental well-being of ICRC staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Staff Health briefings for newly hired staff.
- Assess and monitor living conditions for general hygiene, safety, and preventive health practices.
- Evaluate local medical facilities and establish a referral network.
- Provide confidential support and medical advice to staff.
- Coordinate medical evacuations.
- Implement and oversee staff health policies and procedures.
- Promote mental well-being and organize peer support following critical incidents.
- Collect and analyze staff health data.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in mental health care and stress management.
- Practical experience with medical evacuation and patient transportation.
- Knowledge of tropical health and public health systems.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in medicine (Medical Doctor).
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine.

Professional fluency in English and Ukrainian (both written and spoken).

Contract Duration
Temporary maternity leave replacement, with an expected duration subject to the return date of the incumbent. The contract will be issued on a fixed-term basis accordingly.

Competitive salary between UAH 60,000 and 88,000 (gross) before taxation.
