Logistics Technical Officer Moldova

Overview

Ensure technical supervision and support for the day-to-day implementation of logistics functions, including procurement, fleet, assets, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision and support to logistics officers (Procurement, fleet, assets, stock).
• Process procurement requests up to competitive bidding and support above competitive bidding procedures.
• Maintain paper and electronic records in line with NRC's standard procedures and SSD & Filling Tree Policies.
• Update Procurement Trackers (PR & PO Trackers, NTF, RFQ, Waiver, CFU, etc.).
• Engage in market assessment and update the Country Vendor database.
• Act as focal person for Agresso procurement module, ETB, EFS, ECM, WMS support and guidance.
• Work on FWAs with support and guidance of the Country Logistics Manager.
• Technically supervise and ensure assets are registered, tagged, and checked regularly.
• Assist other logistics units/colleagues in Assets & Stock Management activities when requested.

Required Experience

• Experience of working as a Support Function Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context.
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
• Previous experience working in Logistics with an INGO.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple departments, proactive in problem solving and removing bottlenecks, and ability to share information in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with preferably 2 years of experience in Logistics.
