Overview

The People and Culture Officer provides HR services by executing HR functions and supporting the People and Culture Manager. The role focuses on business partnering, strategic human resources, implementation of HR services, learning and capacity development, and HR data analytics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the supervisor and colleagues in the unit by executing HR services.
  • Apply knowledge of theoretical HR models.
  • Understand organizational HR policies and procedures.
  • Business Partnering.
  • Strategic Human Resources.
  • Support to Implementation of assigned Human Resources Services.
  • Learning and Capacity Development.
  • HR Data Analytics.
Required Experience

One year of relevant work experience in Human Resources, recruitment, job classification, performance management, learning and development, business partnering, data analytics, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, employee relations or any other related field is required.

Qualifications

A completed Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, human resources, business administration, international relations, psychology or any other related fields is required.

Proficiency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse organization tailoring language, tone, style and format to match audience is an asset.
