Overview
The Health Manager provides strategic leadership and technical oversight for UNICEF Ethiopia’s health programme, focusing on immunization, primary health care, health systems strengthening, and health emergency preparedness and response to achieve equitable health outcomes for women and children.

Required Experience
At least 8 years of relevant work experience in public health programme planning and management is required, with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: health systems strengthening, immunization system support, primary health care, maternal and newborn health, health emergency and humanitarian preparedness and response, vaccine-preventable disease outbreak response, and public health emergencies.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in public health, pediatric health, family health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management, vaccinology, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical sciences, health education, epidemiology or another relevant field is required.
