Media monitoring and analysis of geopolitical, security and safety developments

Overview

This assignment involves monitoring and analyzing geopolitical, security, and safety developments from open-media sources to support the United Nations Security Management System in enabling UNDP program delivery in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze daily media monitoring reports covering each sub-region and produce a Weekly Regional Report, to be submitted on Fridays at noon (Panama Time).
• Analyze daily media monitoring reports covering a specific country or sub-region and produce and submit a bi-weekly analytical report on a date and time to be coordinated with the supervisor.
• Meet online once a week for a feedback session with the supervisor to discuss progress and relevant situational matters.

Required Experience

Prior experience in research, analysis and reporting is required.
