Overview
Oversees day-to-day implementation of protection activities in Tawilah, leading protection monitoring, case identification, and referral processes. Ensures timely and accountable delivery of protection services, supervises Technical Assistants, and coordinates with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of protection monitoring, case identification, and referrals.
- Ensure projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection.
- Conduct focus group discussions, observations, and surveys during field visits.
- Identify protection cases, refer cases in need, and follow up on referrals.
- Ensure timely procurement, development, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and develop status reports.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Suggest capacity building measures for the protection field team.
Required Experience
2-3 years’ experience from working as a protection staff with knowledge in case management and case identification, program in a humanitarian/recovery context. Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
Qualifications
University degree or technical school degree (social sciences preferred, e.g. education, political or Social science, international relations, law, journalism, gender studies, human rights etc.).
