Overview
Provide technical support for proficiency tests, interlaboratory comparisons, and reference material production. Conduct radiochemical and radiometric measurements of marine samples and contribute to publications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and implementing PTs and ILCs.
- Support the production of RMs.
- Conduct sample preparation, radiochemical and radioanalytical analyses of marine samples.
- Carry out ancillary analyses relevant to marine samples.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the QMS.
- Prepare and present technical reports and scientific papers.
Required Experience
Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in radiochemical and radioanalytical techniques applied to the analysis of environmental samples in the framework of a Quality Management System. Working experience with processing scientific datasets and preparing reports. Experience in the production of reference materials and the organisation of proficiency tests, or in their use, are assets.
Qualifications
Completed secondary education.

Excellent oral and written command of English.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Remuneration
Tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 49725 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks' annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
