Assurance Mapping and Data Analytics Consultant, Internal Audit & Investigation, OIAI, Hybrid, 6 months, NY
Overview
The purpose of the consultancy is to strengthen OIAI’s data analytics and business intelligence capabilities by developing a semi-automated or automated and sustainable approach to assurance mapping and related audit analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and enhancing the existing Excel-based assurance map
- Consolidating and integrating relevant assurance and audit data
- Developing a more automated and dynamic solution, preferably in Power BI or similar technology
- Producing analytical tools and visualizations to support assurance mapping, the audit universe, risk assessment, planning and reporting
- Testing, documenting and supporting the handover of the developed solutions
Required Experience
At least two years of relevant work experience in data analytics, data management, business intelligence, data visualization, analytical research or other related areas. Relevant experience may include internships, academic projects or other practical assignments involving data extraction, structuring, analysis and presentation.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary/high school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools, use of AI and agentic AI tools such as Copilot, advanced Excel, data structuring and analysis, automation, and working with large or complex datasets. Analytical foundation in data analytics, business intelligence, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or another relevant quantitative/analytical field.
