Overview
The Operations Associate will support procurement and finance units with administrative tracking of requests and documentation, and assist in maintaining procurement, asset, and payment trackers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement and finance units with administrative tracking of requests and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining procurement, asset, and payment trackers.
- Support logistics arrangements for meetings, missions, and office activities.
- Assist in verification and organization of operational documents for compliance purposes.
- Provide support in maintaining updated vendor and inventory records.
- Assist in compiling supporting documents for Country office audits.
- Organize and maintain audit files and evidence documentation in UNDP Guyana Share-point.
- Support compliance checks for project and operational documentation.
- Assist teams in ensuring proper records management and document accessibility.
Required Experience
- 1 month
- 2 years of professional experience in Operations area such as Finance, Procurement and Human resources.
- Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
- Knowledge and experience in programme/project management.
Qualifications
A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas of Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
