Overview
The Information Integrity Specialist will support the operationalisation and functioning of the UNDP eMonitor+ platform, focusing on digital media monitoring, data analysis, and reporting to strengthen information integrity during the electoral cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operationalisation and day-to-day functioning of the UNDP eMonitor+ platform.
- Undertake social media monitoring, data collection, data cleaning, classification, translation, analysis, and quality assurance.
- Support the receipt, verification, classification, and referral of crowdsourced reports.
- Analyse emerging narratives and information risks.
- Prepare concise analytical products, including weekly monitoring and impact reports.
- Support ad hoc information integrity analysis and coordination requests.
- Attend mandatory training concerning the eMonitor+ platform.
- Support coordination with stakeholders.
- Maintain updated activity, deliverable, deadline, and follow-up trackers.
- Document and disseminate lessons learned, good practices, and implementation experience.
- Compile relevant performance and impact metrics and support monitoring, evaluation and learning functions.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience
2 years relevant experience in election support, observation, social media analysis, or other relevant experience. Experience in electoral support or other relevant programmes; experience with social media analysis and previous work with the United Nations (UN) or other international development organizations would be an asset.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, social sciences, and computer science. Skills and experience social sciences, law, economics, computer science, data science, or another relevant field.
