Overview
This position involves assisting the Coordination and Planning Unit in enhancing mission planning procedures, collecting and analyzing data, and supporting administrative and logistical matters for Country Offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Unit in enhancing and promoting Court’s mission planning procedures;
- Collect and analyze data pertaining to mission planning and situation countries;
- Participate in the budget process and to render assistance in contract administration and logistics matters;
- Assist the Unit with a further development of a software on mission planning;
- Draft memoranda, reports and minutes as appropriate;
- Assist the Unit with the organization of meetings, provision of support to Country Offices and coordination of trainings for field staff.
- Closely work with the Desk Assistants and CPU Officers and prepare regular reports, as/when required;
- Any other tasks/projects as assigned by the Unit.
Required Experience
Candidates for a Visiting Professional placement must have at least 3 (three) years of relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
All candidates must have a degree, preferably in social science, political science, business, administration and/or related field or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognized university.
