Overview
This internship within the Public Information and Outreach Section of the Registry aims to support the Court's efforts to make its proceedings accessible to the public and raise awareness of its mandate and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring media and formatting the ICC Daily Press Review (in English and French)
- Monitoring social media
- Supporting new website/social media projects, assisting in designing infographics and visuals
- Assisting with photography projects including inserting metadata, compiling selected photos for specific themes and projects, assist in securing permission to use external photographs
- Assisting with uploading archive of videos onto our server and insert metadata into photographs
- Helping maintain the Public Affairs Unit mailing list
- Assisting journalists at the Court’s Information Desk during key public hearings
- Escorting visitors and arranging meetings when necessary
- Taking notes at specific meetings
- Performing background research
- Providing other assistance as requested
Required Experience
Applicants must have less than 3 (three) years of relevant full-time professional experience.
Qualifications
All Candidates must have a degree from or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognized university. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance.
