Overview

Assist in the implementation of activities for UNICRI’s Centre for AI and Robotics, focusing on the improvement of a project website through web development and design.


Key Responsibilities
  • Export content from a Drupal website.
  • Provide support on the configuration of a WordPress website.
  • Assist in editing, updating, importing and uploading content onto the WordPress website.
  • Evaluate technical elements and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor sources for relevant trends and developments.
  • Communicate project status, issues and risk factors.
  • Participate in determining technical requirements and planning technical aspects of projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Have studied web applications design and development (preferred).
  • Have knowledge and experience with WordPress development (preferred).
  • Have basic understanding of HTML and CSS (preferred).
  • Are familiar with website deployment and hosting management (preferred).
Other Details
Languages Required
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.
Contract Duration
2-6 months
Work Modality
hybrid modality: applicants are expected to work from the premises in The Hague, The Netherlands, as well as remotely.
Remuneration
The Internship is UNPAID.
