Overview
This internship supports the "UNGSC - Post-DANA DR Capabilities Enhancement" Project, aiming to shift from manual recovery planning to automated, validated resilience within the Digital and Compliance Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) Operations & Planning, including reviewing and updating Information System Contingency Plans (ISCPs), identifying gaps between Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and technical capabilities, and coordinating Disaster Recovery Exercises (DRX).
- Contribute to Resilience Automation by validating automated recovery workflows.
- Support Resilience Dashboards & Visualization by building interactive PowerBI dashboards and visualizing testing coverage metrics.
- Leverage Generative AI for Continuity Assurance by researching and supporting the use of GenAI tools for DR "Runbooks" and exploring AI-driven predictive analytics.
- Contribute to Documentation and Standardization by assisting in maintaining the Service Continuity Library.
Required Experience

Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); OR
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Field of studies must be closely related to Cybersecurity & Information Security, Computer Science & IT, Data Science & Analytics and/or Engineering & Technology.
