Overview
The Protection Associate monitors protection standards and provides functional protection support. The incumbent coordinates protection responses to the needs of populations of concern and identifies opportunities to mainstream protection methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- - Coordinate with stakeholders to support project activities.
- - Facilitate joint planning and execution of field missions.
- - Engage with local actors to identify persons with specific protection needs.
- - Provide information and orientation to affected populations.
- - Identify individuals eligible for non-cash voucher assistance and monitor assistance.
- - Register case-related information in the proGres case management system.
- - Refer individuals to public services and specialized providers.
- - Identify individuals in need of shelter and coordinate access to accommodation.
- - Prepare periodic reports on activities implemented.
Required Experience
3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Certificates: International Law, Political Science or other related field.
