Overview
Provides support for projects in Haiti by ensuring timely and efficient execution of finance and administrative actions, tasks, and duties essential to project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, verify and process financial and administrative transactions in the ERP system.
- Process project payments, manage accounts receivable, petty cash and cash receipts.
- Provide support to project-related missions and activities.
- Monitor budgets, expenditures and commitments for projects operations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Maintain an overview of the financial situation of the projects.
- Prepare and modify budget data as required.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets, databases and control tools.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and financial records.
- Support project implementation by tracking financial delivery against plans.
- Liaise with concerned ILO constituents, implementing agencies and donors.
- Provide administrative and financial support for missions, meetings and project activities.
- Respond to routine queries related to payments, budgets, procedures and administrative processes.
- Keep abreast of financial and administrative rules, procedures and system changes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting and/or business administration.
- Experience of working with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education.
