Overview

Provides support for projects in Haiti by ensuring timely and efficient execution of finance and administrative actions, tasks, and duties essential to project implementation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate, verify and process financial and administrative transactions in the ERP system.
  • Process project payments, manage accounts receivable, petty cash and cash receipts.
  • Provide support to project-related missions and activities.
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures and commitments for projects operations.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain an overview of the financial situation of the projects.
  • Prepare and modify budget data as required.
  • Maintain and update financial spreadsheets, databases and control tools.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and financial records.
  • Support project implementation by tracking financial delivery against plans.
  • Liaise with concerned ILO constituents, implementing agencies and donors.
  • Provide administrative and financial support for missions, meetings and project activities.
  • Respond to routine queries related to payments, budgets, procedures and administrative processes.
  • Keep abreast of financial and administrative rules, procedures and system changes.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting and/or business administration.
  • Experience of working with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education.

Excellent knowledge of English.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of French or Spanish will be considered as an asset.
