Overview

This internship involves assisting in the analysis of legal instruments, preparing documents for meetings, and monitoring Security Council meetings.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in analyzing international, regional, and domestic legal instruments.
  • Support the preparation of documents for meetings with Member States' Permanent Missions to the United Nations in New York, as well as for the organization of CTED meetings and seminars.
  • Monitor relevant Security Council meetings and produce timely, concise briefing notes.
Qualifications

Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate degree programme in law (e.g. LLB, JD, LLM, PhD), international affairs, or political science.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Languages Preferred
Proficiency in another United Nations language is desirable.

Remuneration
