Overview
Support the implementation of programme activities, primarily for the Benazir Nashonuma Programme, in WFP-assisted districts. The role involves coordination with government departments and partners, ensuring the supply of food, and assisting with monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep close and timely coordination with government departments, Cooperating Partners, and field coordinators.
- Maintain liaison with Department of Health, LHWP, BISP Taluka/District office, and nutrition/BNP partners.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the Facilitation Centre, provide technical backstopping and guidance.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of Specialized Nutritious Food (SNF).
- Assist in development of quarterly and monthly distribution plans and generation of CRNs.
- Facilitate training/orientation and capacity building sessions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complaints and addressing queries.
- Provide timely assistance and escalate issues.
- Maintain information records and monitoring plan documentation.
- Assist the M&E unit in monitoring BNP activities and addressing monitoring findings.
- Submit narrative reports on a weekly basis.
- Conduct Quality benchmark Checklist of Facilitation centers on a quarterly basis.
- Conduct periodic monitoring trips, spot checks, and prepare progress reports.
- Conduct Periodic Post Distribution Monitoring, Distribution Monitoring, and structural assessment of Facilitation Centers.
- Ensure compilation of data and support analysis and preparation of reports.
- Support PO on the Community Feedback Mechanism.
- Complete all mandatory training.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of work experience in nutrition and public health in emergencies, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in CMAM or stunting prevention projects in the province.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate or a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Political Science, Economics, International Relations or other related field is desirable.
