Overview
The Programme Assistant (Research Assessment and Monitoring - RAM) will provide administrative support to the RAM team, manage the WFP hotline, and act as a liaison between field monitors, Programme units, and the central RAM unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the WFP hotline and share regular reports.
- Process and manage routine administrative and financial tasks for the RAM unit.
- Support the organization of internal and inter-unit meetings, including note-taking and reporting.
- Manage and track WFP corporate information systems (COMET, Databridge, MoDA) to ensure data is current.
- Maintain relationships with other units and external partners to facilitate information sharing.
- Support the unit in monitoring partnerships and partner payments.
- Act as an intermediary between the RAM unit and field monitors for information flow.
- Collect data and perform simple analyses for effective management information.
- Undertake any other related tasks.
Required Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in management, administration, logistics, or related fields, following the completion of secondary education.
- Experience in administrative tasks such as hotline management, scheduling, document preparation, record-keeping, and correspondence management.
- Familiarity with internal financial management systems (WINGS) and contract management systems (COUPA).
- Ability to organize meetings, events, and travel, and coordinate associated logistics.
- Ability to analyze data, prioritize, and track tasks to completion within deadlines.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including professional email, report, and document writing.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education in relevant functional areas.
