Overview
Officière Sage-Femme to support and monitor the care of pregnant women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as the fetus, newborn, and infant in health facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support/monitor the care of pregnant women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as the fetus, newborn, and infant in health facilities.
- Support/monitor the care of GBV survivors in health facilities/outreach strategies.
- Support the implementation of other reproductive health activities for women and girls.
- Support the collection, compilation, and analysis of health data to improve the program.
- Support/monitor PCI WASH activities in supported facilities in collaboration with the partner health officer.
- Support the activities of Community Health Workers (CHW) in collaboration with partner community mobilizers.
- Contribute to the organization and proper functioning of the supervision team.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in the administration or supervision of healthcare activities according to national guidelines: PCIME, SONUB, PEV, reproductive health, community health.
- Experience working with National, international NGOs and/or UN system would be an asset.
- Good knowledge of the health system in the Central African Republic.
- Having experience or having lived in Ndele is an asset.
Qualifications
State-Graduated Midwife, State-Graduated Nurse-Midwife, midwife assistant, or any other equivalent diploma.
