Overview

The role involves planning and conducting communication tasks to enhance the relevance, visibility, and impact of the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs (DAF) work. This includes managing publications, media, web content, design, and events.


Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on and prepare publications, copyedit, format, and proofread manuscripts.
  • Draft short materials to promote publications and promote them through multiple channels.
  • Develop social media campaigns and draft content for various platforms.
  • Monitor social media to evaluate campaign impact.
  • Support work with traditional media, including preparing materials and monitoring coverage.
  • Update and maintain web pages, ensuring visibility and discoverability of information.
  • Draft original web content and adapt texts for the web, following SEO and GEO best practices.
  • Design high-quality communication materials for various stakeholders.
  • Propose new promotional approaches and stay updated on best practices.
  • Manage communication needs for events, including developing websites, visual signatures, and promotional activities.
  • Contribute to the annual communications plan and ensure activities support the plan and priorities.
  • Coordinate with other Communications Officers and provide support.
  • Coordinate with the DAF DO Communications Unit and COM in planning activities.
  • Support impact monitoring and knowledge-sharing within the Division.
Required Experience

At least three years of experience working in the field of communications, journalism or public affairs. Previous experience working in the financial sector would be an advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, journalism or public affairs.

Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.

Remuneration
Monthly salary starts at 4 502.33 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
