Overview

The ICRC Protection Unit is recruiting a Protection Field Officer based in Kyiv to contribute to the implementation and monitoring of protection activities related to the Safe Cross-Border Passage (SCBP) program.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day implementation and development of the Safe Cross-Border Passage (SCBP) program.
• Assessing and processing potential cases and ensuring timely follow-up for beneficiaries.
• Providing support to sub-delegations on SCBP cases and activities.
• Ensuring compliance with workflows, reporting guidelines, and data entry procedures.
• Collecting, analyzing, and sharing protection-related information and preparing relevant reports.
• Identifying and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Supporting the planning, organization, and reporting of internal and external meetings and providing interpretation when required.
• Engaging directly with individuals affected by conflict to understand their circumstances and provide support.
• Contributing to the analysis of the security, socioeconomic, cultural, and political environment and sharing relevant updates with the team.

Required Experience

3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in the fields of social, political, or economic sciences, or a related area.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
