Overview
The PMER Officer is responsible for implementing a PMER framework for operations and strengthening PMER systems and functions by providing technical assistance and guidance. They will also be involved in strengthening the PMER capacity of relevant National Societies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support to set up and implement a planning process for operations and programs.
- Support the development and implementation of an M&E plan for the operation.
- Prepare, design, and implement necessary surveys, reviews, evaluations, or lesson learning exercises.
- Coordinate all reporting activities closely with NS counterparts and Cluster office managers.
- Contribute to the accountability focus of all PMER work across the operation.
- Support the cross-sharing of accessible information and learning from ongoing operational monitoring and review.
Required Experience
- 3 years’ experience working in PMER. Required.
- Experience working in an emergency response context. Required.
- Background in data collection, management, analysis and presentation methods and tools, and ability to set up systems and procedures for reliable data collection and management. Required.
- Experience working for the RCRC Movement. Preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a relevant humanitarian or Social Sciences, ideally studies relating to data management, statistics etc. Required.
- Training Courses on PMER or equivalent experience. Required.
