Programme Management Intern: Supporting the implementation of the non-staff capacities of the UNCCT/UNOCT Victims of Terrorism Programme
Overview
This internship supports the implementation of non-staff capacities for the UNCCT/UNOCT Victims of Terrorism Programme, focusing on programme management and policy matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and preparing background documents, reports, issue briefs, talking points, articles, presentations.
- Attend and summarize conferences and meetings.
- Support organization of meetings and conferences, side events to strengthen strategic engagement with UN system partners.
- Assist in data collection and conduct research and provide analysis on relevant topics.
- Assist in maintaining databases.
- Support the review of key publications.
- Assist in preparing training and learning events and other capacity building initiatives.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent). Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor's, Master's or PH.D. Programme.
