Overview
This internship offers young professionals work experience in a dynamic international team supporting the sustainable development agenda in the Philippines. The intern will support the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office with programmatic work, research, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support mapping and analysis of key stakeholders, including government, donors, private sector, civil society and youth
- Assist in preparing financial analyses, donor profiles, and resource mobilization briefs to support the implementation of the 2024-2028 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, SDGs and national priorities
- Assist in keeping the legislative intelligence tracker on priority legislative-executive bills up to date.
- Support RCO work on inter-agency work and joint programmes
- Contribute to organizing partnership platforms, workshops, learning visits and dialogues to catalyze multistakeholder action.
- Assist in organizing hybrid and digitally enabled coordination meetings, workshops, and events related to the RCO's initiatives and UNCT activities, as needed
- Support preparation and drafting of actionable documentations (minutes, summaries, and follow-up action points) from meetings.
- Support activities for interns across UN entities, including communications and shared learning.
- Support preparation of briefing notes, background papers, and knowledge products on partnership and finance trends, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Support documentation and disseminate case studies on successful partnership and finance initiatives, including replication and scaling mechanisms.
- Support RCO in maintaining and improve the UN Philippines SharePoint repository for partnership and finance resources.
Required Experience
Some prior work experience would be an advantage.
Qualifications
Graduated from a degree program in public administration, diplomacy and international affairs, development studies, international relations, statistics, data science, or related fields.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.

Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
