Human Resources Intern: Outreach and Talent Acquisition
Overview
The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) is seeking an intern to support the Vacancy Management Unit in talent acquisition, management, and retention, with a focus on outreach and communication projects.
Key Responsibilities
- - Conducting research on diverse issues and preparing background material.
- - Assisting team members with HR projects and networks, disseminating information and establishing partnerships.
- - Assisting in conducting outreach on selected platforms.
- - Presenting visual concepts and ideas.
- - Developing visual solutions from data sources.
- - Assisting in designing, organizing, and managing the collection and analysis of statistical data.
- - Monitoring social media analytics and proposing improvements.
- - Proposing new ways to coordinate and streamline team work, especially in digital outreach.
- - Exploring AI-generated tools for efficiency and workflow improvement.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Experience in using data analytics and visualization tools, such as Excel and Power BI. Experience in creating materials for communication and outreach campaigns using content creation and design tools, such as Adobe Premium, Canva, and AI-assisted applications, is desirable.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent). Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor's, Master's or PH.D. Programme.
