Overview
The Partnerships Specialist will support the delivery of the country resource mobilization strategy and plan, enhancing partnerships and engagement with donors, and negotiating fundraising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement work plans for assigned areas to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results.
- Seek and promote new partnerships and resource mobilization.
- Receive and screen inquiries from potential collaborators.
- Scan and scout external environment for opportunities and risks.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current and prospective partners.
- Expand UNICEF’s network of key interlocutors.
- Develop and implement annual partnership engagement and resource mobilization plans.
- Act as a focal point for identification and pursuit of outreach, engagement, and policy influence opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of new partnership and resource mobilization practices.
- Manage grant contribution cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality donor proposals and reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in Partnerships, Resource Mobilization, Donor relations, Grant management, External relations, Fundraising, Stakeholder engagement, advocacy, international development, humanitarian aid and any other related fields.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Political Science, Communications, Social Science, Management, Public Administration, International Development, International relations, or another relevant technical field.
